I received the Hemp Soothing Body Balm as part of the Best in Beauty Trial team event. Straight away I was struck by the smell. very organic and soothing, making me want to use it straight away. What i liked about it was that I felt it was nourishing my skin without the heaviness of a moisturizer, and one that smelt soothing as well. You really can use it anywhere on the body for any reason and you will get the same result, a fresh feeling of healthy nourished skin! You also don’t need to use much so it will go a long way, even better.

This intensive Hemp balm with calendula & Manuka Oil soothes skin irritations and relieves tired and stressed skin. Hemp seed oil is rich in vitamins A and E; high in omega acids 3, 6 and 9. Helps restore the skin barrier, while also hydrating and soothing the skin.
This also reduces inflammation without clogging pores and helps calm and soothe inflammation and irritation of the skin. This product suppress wrinkle development, skin thickness and sun damage. This product is made in New Zealand and are suitable for eczema prone skin are cruelty free and are 100% natural. It also contain NO GMO, parabens, silicone, sulphate & harsh chemicals. I used it a few nights and it is a thick cream that is hard to rub in and get the results. The smell is amazing and it absorbs beautifully. The skin is beautifully nourished and feels great next morning. I absolutely love this product and highly recommend this product to anyone with skin issues.

Received to trial from the Best in Beauty Marketplace Event and have been using for 10 days.
Surprised at how solid this balm was – but a balm is an ointment!
When I first used it we had had a cool change and I needed to use a spatula to dispense it but it does seem to have softened in the 10 days since.
First impression when I opened it – LOVE LOVE LOVE the aroma!
And looking at all the natural ingredients, not surprising that I love it – right up my alley.
Can safely be used on pregnant women, babies & children.
You apply a small amount to the desired area and work the balm gently into the skin.
Initially I used it as a foot balm at night on my dry heels and feet and not sure if it was the balm, but I’ve certainly been sleeping well at night since using it! I have also used it on sore calf muscles after a hiking workout and found it very beneficial. And I don’t wash my hands after as I’m going to bed and find the balm very beneficial on my hands as well. Think I’d find it a bit sticky and messy to use on my legs after shaving. But there’s a multitude of uses I know it’ll come in handy for – waiting for an itchy bite to use it on. Don’t have a baby to use it on for nappy rash but wish it was around 30 years ago and I know I’d be using it for that purpose.
It’s a product I’ll always keep on hand for so many things!
Only recently discovered the Hemptuary brand from NZ after using their Hemp Nourishing Face & Body Oil – very impressed and I will check out more of their products.

The Hemptuary Hemp Smoothing Body Balm is great for those with sensitive and dry skin. It is a multi-purpose balm as I use it right after demaplaning for smoothing as aftercare. I have been using it around my ankles because I tend to have really dry areas around the back of my ankles due to wearing heels to work. So dry to the point of bleeding but with this product formulated with organic hemp seed oil, Manuka oil, beeswax, and lanolin, it really nourishes and moisturises my dry skin.
The packaging is very modern with a bronze-colored lid and a white plastic jar. However, the product is quite hard so I do not like to stick my nails into the jar to get the product out therefore I use a little plastic spatula (which I got from another skincare product) to scoop out the product (which I would recommend Hemptuary to consider to include it with the product for convenience/hygiene). A pea size amount of product goes a long way, then massage it onto your face or body to really warm up the product so it melts onto your skin. I like it that it does not feel oily or greasy.

I received this product from Beautyheaven at the Best of Beauty event. Thanks BH!

This balm is a multipurpose product that I like to use on dry spots on the body and cuticles. This comes in a plastic jar and is a super solid consistency, to get some product out you need to either dig it out with your nail or let some product melts onto your fingertips from your body heat. This smells herbal and slightly minty and is of green colour.

Once you’ve dug out some product, it melts into the skin and doesn’t leave a greasy residue which is pleasantly surprising for such a thick/solid texture product. This leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

I received The Hemptuary Body Balm as the recent Beauty Haven Marketplace event .
Thank you again for allowing me to be part of the Trial Team .
I did not know much about the product but when I was informed about the uses and the ingredients in it I was very willing to try this.
Since I go to the gym and do Combat classes I always feel sore the next day.
So I decided to try this product which actually reminded me of a similar product that I used to used called Arnica Cream.
Anything from New Zealand is always a reassuring thing for me.
The Balm is packaged very well and has a very tight lid and a seal.
The smell is quite nice and very calming to the body and mind.
The consistency of the product is very very thick and I found it very hard to grab hold of it .
It works well if you actually want to use a small amount to apply in a particular area as it does not waste the product.
I used it on my sore legs to see if it works and actually had to scrape a bit from the back of my finger nail to grab the tiny amount of product and apply it.
The pepper mint feeling and tingling to the skin actually feels like its working and relieving the muscle ache.
I found it very calming and soothing to the areas that I applied and in fact it did relieve the soreness.
Great for also using it on your cracked heels which I gave it a go and worked beautifully.
Love this product and I feel its very reasonably priced

  7. Jasmen111

Thank you beauty heaven for inviting me to the recent Best in Beauty event in Sydney and letting me trial this Hemptuary by topiderm Hemp Soothing Body Balm. The product comes in a twist tub and is a solid product that melts with touch. I applied it to any dry patches I had on my body and to my elbows and knees. Since it is only 30g, I think it would run out quite quickly if used all over the body. The product is quite heavily scented from the various oils including cannabis sativa seed oil, castor oil and sweet almond oil. Due to the heavy scent and many oils, I would not use this on my face as I have sensitive eczema skin. I found that after application, the skin on those areas I applied were well moisturised.

Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm is an all-in-one hydrating and smoothing balm. I received the Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm to try as part of the Beauty Heaven Best In Beauty awards. The balm is really hydrating and you just need a small amount. I have been doing sprint cleaning and cleaning is always harsh on my hands and it resulted in dry and itchy skin. So I used the balm to smooth the dryness and itchiness from my hand and it helped to smooth it right away. I have also used it on my feet and heals as well as a moisturiser.

  9. ThisIsMe

I don’t use balms very often so I was intrigued to try this after using the face & body oil.

The balm comes in a small tub. It is a very solid & wax-like texture and hard to get out of the tub you really need to scrape it & then rub it a little between your fingers or palms to soften a tad before applying. I use this mainly on my drier areas like my heels, elbows & knees.

The balm is great for nourishing dry skin, especially in those tougher skin areas like the elbows & knees. I’ve tried it on my face but find it too hard to soften enough to spread it out across my face and prefer a serum or oil for my face compared to a balm.

It has a peppermint-type smell and slight cooling sensations so make sure you wash your hands after using it.

Thank you very much to Beautyheaven and Hemptuary for providing this product for trial and review at the Beautyheaven Best In Beauty 2022 MARKETPLACE.

First of all I love hemp seed oil skin products. They have all worked very well for me in the past.

This balm is a solid thick balm which is so concentrated that a little will truly go a very long way. It is not an all-over moisturser, more of an Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream type thing where it should be applied sparingly and as needed. I love this balm as it smoothes areas such as elbows and knees, I must admit however that it is not a product that I need especially given that we are already in spring and heading to autumn, when my skin does not require this level of nourishment.

    Good product nevertheless.

  13. beauty2018

Could not believe my luck when i received another jar of this beautiful balm at the recent Best in Beauty Marketplace event. The scent does take awhile to get use but does dissipate. A little goes along way & is reminiscent of the old Tiger Balm. Found it very soothing & calming, usually applied in evenings just before bedtime, concentrated on super dry areas such as elbows, knees and feet. The lady at the presentation mentioned it contains all natural ingredients can be used on our lips too. So versatile!

  14. at1295

I received this product to test out and had never heard of this brand before so I was intrigued. The instructions are quite vague and I wasn’t exactly sure what to use this product for. As I suffer from quite a lot of dry patches of skin on my hands I thought I would test it out there. I took a small amount and began rubbing it into my hands for quite some time and the product just didn’t seem to sink in well at all and felt quite heavy and waxy which I did not enjoy the feeling of. It also didn’t feel moisturising at all, which is what you would hope for in a balm. So, overall I was disappointed in this product and don’t feel that it was the right fit for me.

  15. Misy Rose

I was lucky to try this Hemp Soothing Body Balm out as part of the Best in Beauty event.

While it calls itself a body balm, I would not recommend using it as an all over body moisturiser. Especially as it is quite solid in consistency. Instead I have used it similar to how I use paw paw ointment or tiger balm where I would spot treat specific problem areas and use a general body lotion for the whole body. It is perfect for that use and I already have plans to restock once my current jar runs out.

It’s a very versatile product and I can see myself whipping it out for any type of skin concerns – dry patches, mosquito bites, irritation.

Thanks BH for the chance to try this product. I had never heard of this brand before so I was interested in giving this product a go. I tested it predominantly on my heels as they really need some TLC after the winter.
The packaging is a twist top plastic jar and the product is a firm balm (as suggested by the name) with a very expected and pleasant herbally (I assume hemp) scent. It was quite hard to remove the product so I think the addition of a spatula would be really helpful however once applied on the skin it absorbs easily. There is not greasy or sticky residue so I wouldn’t have an issue using this day and night. I can’t say if this really softened my heels but I did enjoy my nightly foot massage ritual. I will be continuing to use this as a small form of self care and try it on other areas of the body as needed.

  17. Peach perfect

This is like a gentle therapy in a jar. Cut little jar and the balm looks mossy, calm sort of green. Little firm like lip butters that you have to scrape gentle and it melts with the warmth of your hand. It doesn’t feel greasy but delivers that rich feeling that one expects from anything called balm.

It has slightly warm aroma as well – eucalyptus perhaps – which absolutely suits and adds to the whole experience. If you don’t like face oils, this is definitely worth considering for a replacement. Otherwise your elbows, knees and any other dry patches of skin are going to love it for sure.

Thank you Beauty Heaven for the opportunity to trial and test Hemtuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm..
This is such a nice balm and helped sooth a razor burn I had on my face..
The balm is thick and needs to be warmed up between the fingers before applying as this is due to the ingredients one being bees wax..
I love the way it made my face feel..calming the very angry razor burn..
I’m also a little addicted to the scent as it takes me back to my childhood living in the country and surrounded by bush.as an organic product you can smell the natural ingredients.
I highly recommend using Hemp Soothing Body Balm for those that have very dry and or angry skin..

  19. JordannaLeigh

This body balm is very thick and hard. It has a wax like texture. The colour is a dark yellowy/ green colour.
It contains natural oils and indefinitely does smell. It has a lovely smell of peppermint, lemongrass, menthol, eucalyptus and manuka oil.it contains organic hemp seed oil.
This balm can be used allover the body. i like to apply some on my nail cuticles, my hands if they are feeling dry, my lips, or anywhere that feels dry or itchy or irritated.
I also like to apply a small amount onto a clean eyebrow brush and use it to set my brows in place.

  20. Niqueyq

I received this product as part of the Best in Beauty Awards. The Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Balm is a little pot of magic.
Because it is a balm, the consistency is very firm, so I have been using a spatula I got with a face cream to get the product out. Once it warms up either rubbed between your hands or just lightly rubbed into your skin, it becomes silly and oil like. I have super dry calves and feet, I have been using this hemp balm regularly and they have never looked or felt better!
I had not heard of this brand before, but will be purchasing this in the future.

  21. Parisienne Chic

Firstly,THANK YOU BH for allowing me to be on the Best in Beauty Marketplace trial team.
As we leave winter and go into summer,we start to think about what our winter skin is looking like, and if you are like me,it is looking a bit dry,a lot in need of TLC,and screaming for moisture,so to receive the Hemptuary body butter was fantastic.
This is one very, very rich balm (which i love for winter for my face and anytime for my bod)….it is an almost solid form that will likely soften in summer with the warmth, but in cooler temps,it needs a spatula to remove it from the beautiful white, gold lidded jar,but when you do obtain an dose of this lovely textured balm,it will be so worth it.
With organic hemp seed oil, calendula, manuka oil, beeswax and lanolin, this is a skin saviour that will soothe even the driest, most sensitive of skin, and leave it healthy, soft and soothed (take note of you are naughty and get sunburned anytime this summer),and leave you with a very mild, fresh scent…but how does it feel ? Well,i loved how the richness of this balm left me with silky skin from top to toe (literally.I used it to tame flyaway hair strands, care for my face, envelop my bod and treat my feet) that didn’t feel greasy, but did feel very moisturised for a long time after use (it depends on what you like, use already and are used to as to what you think it feels like….if you use very light, fluid textured products that disappear immediately, you may find this a massive upgrade on that, and be a bit apprehensive,BUT,if like me,you are no stranger to a heavier texture that takes time to be absorbed, you will fall in love with it and it’s spa like feel.Would i recommend it ? Even if you don’t use it on your face, this balm is so multipurpose that you will surely find a use for everyone in the house….from the youngest bub and their nappy area to Nanna and her dry hands and feet,or hubby with his cracked, dry hands or lips, and your faux tan prepped knees and elbows, everyone can utilise this fantastic, soothing balm.

  22. Monahasan

Received the Hemp Soothing Body Balm in the Best in Beauty event by Beautyheaven. It is a totally new brand for me. This body balm contains quite amazing ingredients like organic hemp seed oil, calendula, manuka oil, beeswax and lanolin so it works wonders to soothe the skin.

It is a nice hard balm. I use a spatula to get it out but of course you can use the back of your fingernail too. It melts on massaging on the skin. It has a strong herby scent…..which thankfully is not noticeable after application. But as it is a rich balm, you need to be careful when and where you apply.

  23. Jennylarum

Hemptuary hemp soothing body balm comes in a small container which contains 30g of product. It’s price is around $30 and it contains calendula b and Manuka oil. I had never heard of this brand before and smelt nothing like it since the old days of tiger balm. Hard to say and hard to review. Didn’t really feel that I could extract it from the container easily so that did not soothe me. So now I have it sitting on my bedside table and before I sleep I rub some on my temples and wrist and take a deep inhale. The smell and fragrance is at least soothing but I would like to see it in an oil which would be easier to apply.

  24. Roxyprincess

I was instantly drawn to this product as it has manuka oil in it which has historically done very well with my dry and sensitive skin. It is very light and looks like a cleansing balm offering in that it is solid in the jar. I use this after my serums and moisturisers to lock everything in as an alternative to an oil. I see myself using this alot in summer as a lighter oil alternative while also applying it to soothe skin after an insect bite and repair dry cuticles. It gave my face a nice glow and didn’t feel heavy on the skin. The ingredients are all natural and initially the balm presented as very firm and I thought it would melt easier. However this might be because my house is cold. So I took some out of the jar and worked it between my fingers to warm it but and it worked beautifully.

  25. Roxybabe

I was excited to try this Hemp Soothing Body Balm on my sensitive skin. I often get skin rashes specially after working in the garden. My arms always becomes red and super itchy, then I remembered I had this cream and I applied it. Within a few seconds it soothed my skin and got rid of the itchiness. It works amazingly. I’m so glad I got to try this. Hemp Soothing Body Balm Is a must have in every household. Works Amazingly when it comes to itchy sensitive skin and rashes. Highly recommend this.

  26. Okatko

Thankyou to Beautyheaven and Hemptuary for asking me to try the Hemp Soothing Body Balm from The Best In Beauty Trial Box. This comes boxed in a 30g plastic tub with rose gold twist off lid. Once out of the box it is not obvious that this product is made from Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (no marijuana leaf pictures on the tub just the box). It also has a lot of other oils like sweet almond, apricot kernel, Manuka, peppermint and one of my favourite scents lemongrass oil which is what I smell predominantly. Reading off the box, I think this product is more of a massage type product than a scented product or moisturiser.

Inside the tub, once you lift off the plastic disc, is the greenish looking balm. For such a solid product the tub is quite light.

To use, you have to dig a little bit out and let it warm between your fingers to apply. I prefer it more and it works better as a spot treatment than an all over body moisturiser so I’ve been using it mainly on my feet which is where I tend to get dry skin. It does leave my hands feeling a little greasy though. I’d prefer it a little lighter and as a lotion. It works well enough and I can recommend it but I don’t see it as a future purchase.

This product is made in New Zealand by Topiderm.

  27. lindylou

This was a gift to trial at the Best in Beauty event. I’ve used Hemptuary body oil before so I was interested to try this. My skin on my body is normal with drier patches on the elbows and knees.

I used this most mornings after a shower and occasionally at other times. I concentrated on one knee and elbow so I could see if it was different from the untreated ones, and also on legs, including after shaving.

The balm comes in a 30g white pot with a coppery colour lid (in a box), it has a removable plastic cover inside. The balm is yellow/greenish with quite a pleasant smell (definitely better than the oil). It is quite solid and not much comes out if you just rub your finger on the surface; I found I needed to dig with my fingernail (not very hygienic) then I started using a cotton bud to get some out, it would really benefit by having a spatula included.

I followed the instructions to use a little bit and rub in to the desired areas. My knees and elbows seemed to absorb it quite quickly but it took a bit longer on areas that weren’t dry. Obviously it does leave your skin a bit greasy. My skin felt good immediately after applying but I didn’t notice any permanent improvements. There was no reaction using it on freshly shaved legs so that is good too.

I didn’t see any of the effects mentioned such as helping sore muscles or relieving stressed skin (maybe my skin wasn’t stressed enough!) so I haven’t really found a place in my life for it. The situation didn’t arise but I imagine it could be good for chafing so long as the skin isn’t actually broken.

The pot I have expires in two years so it will be handy to have around however it probably isn’t going to be something I use regularly. As such I probably wouldn’t buy it however I will recommend it for those who have specific skin problems they need to address.

  28. mmandy

I was lucky enough to attend the Best in Beauty event where I was given this product to try. At first I wasn’t sure if I was going to like it, but my skin on my ankles, heels, and elbows has been particularly dry lately so I started using it before bed. The texture is a fairly solid balm that melts as it touches your skin. I use the back of my nail to scoop some of the product out of the tub and then massage into especially dry areas. It feels soothing to put on as it almost feels like I’m massaging an oil into the skin. The scent is as you would expect from a hemp product. It sinks in pretty quickly for a balm and I don’t feel oily or sticky when I’m in bed; I don’t find any residue on my sheets either. The balm itself (with consistent nightly use) has helped my cracked skin to heal, especially on my ankles which were darkening from how dry they were. Would highly recommend!

  29. chantelle0504

I haven’t used body balm before trialing this product. As it’s described as a soothing balm I have been using it on top of any itchy red irritations or skin allergies I get after a shower, also on my elbows and knees It has a very natural herbal scent. However my only problem is the consistency is super hard and I found I was putting a lot of pressure on the balm to try pick up enough product to use. I ended up scraping the balm up with my nails and applying that was. Due to how difficult it is to get the product up I would only use it on small concentrated areas as it would take a lot of effort to scrape up enough for my legs or for my body.

  30. Katynna

The Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm has worked wonders on my feet, especially my dry and cracked heels. Even after the first application, the balm made a real impact on my heel skin, and as I continued to use it, it really healed my heels! I had deeply cracked skin, that this balm was able to turn around and make smooth. Amazing! The herby-lemongrassy-Eucalyptusy fragrance is reminiscent of a day spa. As the balm is solid, it takes a while to apply, as you wait for your fingers to melt small amounts off the top of the solid balm. As such, I wouldn’t recommend this balm for large areas of skin, like legs or arms, but it is perfect for small areas like heels. I would have also liked to use it on my hands, but noted that the box said ‘wash hands after applying’, so I guess it’s not suitable for hands – maybe there’s a risk of ingestion from your hands? Anyway, this balm is amazing for my heels!

  31. Tigerlily

I received a 30g jar of the Hemptuary Soothing Body Balm at the Best in Beauty event at Bh. It’s packaged in a white plastic jar with rose gold accents. The jar is not sealed however as the balm sets in the jar, it can be easily seen whether the product has been tampered with.

The balm is a lovely yellow green colour and has a light earthy citrus scent. I was pleasantly surprised as it contains some strongly scented ingredients which can be overpowering such as peppermint oil, clove leaf oil and menthol.

The warmth of your finger melts the balm onto your fingers for application and is easily absorbed into the skin. The balm can be used on dry skin patches and cuticles. It can also be used as a soothing balm for body massage.

  32. Simone Gee

I received this product at BH’s Best in Beauty event and all I can say is ‘wow’. I have been familiar with Hemptuary for a while now and have used a few of their products in the past. This one most definitely takes the cake. This balm is the perfect all-rounder, great for irritated areas, hydration, acne, scars, etc. I have found myself picking this up on multiple occasions. I suffer from rosacea as well as hormonal acne and have applied this to the affected areas when needed. I did notice a reduction in my rosacea after a few weeks of use and for my acne, this product calmed the redness and irritation in a matter of hours. I also suffer from dry skin on my elbows, which improved almost instantly after use and have even used this on my dry, chapped lips, for which I found the balm to be really nourishing. The balm does have a slight natural, citric scent, which I personally quite enjoy. I most definitely recommend this product to all and think this should be a staple skincare item in all households.

Thank you to BH for the opportunity to be a part of the Best in Beauty 2022 Trial Team!

This brand is new to me and so is hemp oil, but from the first use I fell in love with this product! It says it’s a body balm, but honestly I’ve been using it for all sorts of things. I have really dry lips that can crack and peel easily, and this is honestly really great as a night lip mask or a lip balm! Just swipe a thin layer and you’re good to go. Have those dry, flaky, tight areas around your mouth? This is great for that! Dry and chapped hands? This. This this this is such a multitasker! And the best part is that its small size – which I kind of don’t like because I want the product to be bigger! – means that you can take this with you on the go to touch up on those dry bits on your face/lips. It has a bit of a minty scent, but it does fade after a few minutes and it’s not that strong.

I am now a fan of this brand and will definitely be checking out more of their products. Silicone-free skincare is really hard to find, so I’m really, really impressed and pleased with this!

I have super dry skin and especially, in winter it gets drier so I was super pleased to get a new body balm to try. The areas that are extra dry right now are my knees/elbows and hands, so I’ve been applying it to those areas. I found it took a bit to warm up but then once it was warmed up it applied nicely. I have been really enjoying the product, which is saying a lot as I don’t usually like body balms (as I often find they are too greasy). I’ve found my skin drones has definitely improved. Overall, super pleased with the product and will continue using it.

I received this balm as part of the Best in Beauty Trial Team. The packaging is gorgeous with a copper coloured lid. The balm is a yellow green colour with a lemony scent which I quite liked.

What I didn’t like was how difficult it was to get the balm out as it was quite solid in the jar. I assume it will soften in warmer weather but I’m too impatient to keep rubbing my finger around to try and get the balm out. Though I suppose the instructions do say to just use a small amount.

The balm is great for soothing your skin.

I was fortunate enough to have received this product to trial at the recent Beauty Heaven marketplace event. This a New Zealand made product and fragrance-free which I appreciate. It works well to soothe the dry skin on my hands (which tend to dry I. This weather and due to hand sanitizers) around my cuticles, knees, elbows and even heels. I attempted to use it after shaving my legs to avoid irritation but found it a bit awkward to get a fair amount to apply on larger surface areas. Balm remains quite solid no matter how much you rub to try and melt it down which I found tricky… best to use a small amount on smaller areas such as hands and elbows. Would recommend for it for small areas and when not in a rush to run out the door! lol

I received this Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm as part of the Best In Beauty Trial Team. This is a really interesting and different product. I do like the packaging; the pot is not too small and not too big, and the lid is a nice, eye-catching bronze colour. I don’t really like the smell of the product, it’s not a fragrance that’s pleasant to me. The texture is a solid balm that you really need to scrape out with the back of your fingernails. Just rubbing your finger over the surface will not get you any product up. Thankfully the product heats up with touch and melts easily into the skin when you rub it in. It contains a lot of different oils and is very nourishing and moisturising. I’ve been enjoying using it on my very dry elbows and on my hands, in particular, my cuticles before a manicure to soften them up. A nice body balm!

This product was sent to me for the Best in Beauty Trial. I have been using it the past 3 days, so I can’t comment on long-term benefits to skin appearance. I couldn’t smell the peppermint scent in this product, personally. The product works well on making skin less dry and to feel moisturised. I found it hard to spread on my skin and that it could go further if a bit thinner. I also found it soothing to tired muscles and dry skin. A great natural product that does make you feel relaxed and pampered after using it. A bit pricey for 30 grams.

I received this product to trial from the beauty heaven market place event. I thought the consistency of this body balm was really interesting. It is light but a bit sticky and greasy. It did not feel that hydrating for me but it did feel soothing. I quite enjoyed the peppermint oil scent as it was quite refreshing. I used this product on dry areas like my elbows and knees and even my shins. I wore socks after as it is quite sticky. I do not think I would buy this product as i prefer something thicker for my body.

I was lucky enough to be chosen for the trial team and this product was included. Thanks to Beauty Heaven I got to try and review this product. I must say that I have never used a product like this before. It provides protection and nourishment for sensitive skin, dry, itchy skin, before and after shaving, body massage, sore muscles, tattoo aftercare and diaper or nappy area. I have only used it for dry skin, and it worked amazing well. I have yet to try it on my sore muscles but look forward to doing so. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

I received the Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm from the beautyheaven marketplace event in Sydney. The body balm comes in a 30g pot with a bright gold lid.
When I first opened the lid and tried to use the product I was surprised how rock solid it was – more like a candle than a balm. I was unsure how to even get to the product which is a greeny yellow colour so I ended up sticking my fingernail in it to get to the product. This felt slightly unhygienic so I then used a teaspoon to get to it, I then let it warm in the palm of my hand to melt slightly before applying to the dry skin that can look a bit crepey on my arms and heels. The balm is very economical you only need a small amount and it really absorbs well, leaving your skin wonderfully soft and hydrated. I am really pleased with the appearance of my skin after using this balm but would suggest using a small applicator to use this lovely product.

This is the second product from Hemptuary that I have tried now and I am really enjoying the line. I applied this body balm to my keratosis pilaris at night and by the morning my bumps looks smooth and not inflamed. The balm is very thick and solid so you will need something to scrape it up with (like the back of your nail) but a small amount goes a long way. The balm didn’t feel sticky and absorbed into the skin. I would also use this for any dry patches on my hands for quick and effective relief.

Comes in a small jar, usually body products comes in giant containers! This is advertised for the body but to be honest, you can use it alllllll over!!! I love it for my cuticles, elbows, heels, spot treat the dry bits on my face (and it didn’t make me break out). I have previously used hemp based products and it worked well on me. This is no different, it’s a fabulous ingredient. I think this product will work well on pretty much everyone. I have no complaints. A jar of balmy goodness! I received this product from beauty heavens market place.

I’m not sure what’s happened with my skin this year but it has become itchy and flaky on and off.. I tend to pay attention and use creams etc then let it go once it’s bearable.
I was very keen to try this cream as unfortunately my skin is itchy and flaky again, I have to say after using this daily for a week I have absolutely seen an improvement.
I really only need a little bit and I use this primarily on my elbows and arms where it gets quite dry.
After using this daily for a week, my skin is softer and smoother already.
Very happy I got to try this!

This is by topiderm and a relatively newer line in the pharmacy that I’ve seen so thank you BH for the chance to try this out. Calendula and Manuka Oil Are key ingredients and the rest are all natural ingredients. I find this super soothing for eczema flare ups when I got them last week, it tingles the area a bit but after that the area was less hydrated and it felt better after use. I would say this screw top jar is one of those you carry in your handbag for all situations, to be applied to the face and body. I mainly used this on the body as a touch up or to add extra moisture or for a flare up. It has a weird herbal scent, but it is still nice and not overpowering and doesn’t irritate the skin. Once applied skin is soft and not too oily.

I received this soothing body balm at the Best in Beauty Marketplace Event and I actually really like this brand as I have received this brand before in another moisturising cream so I know it’s good quality.
I like to use this body moisturiser on my arms, legs and decoupage to really put some moisture back in my skin since it’s so dry during wintertime and since this cream just melts into your skin, I like to wait 10 minutes so it goes right in.
The packaging is very classy and looks good in my bathroom and since it moisturises my skin so well, I will continue to use this great moisturiser.

  47. Chrystalage

This is good quality, rich natural product that is nourishing for really dry skin that needs some love. It smells lovely and a little goes a long way. I like to use it on rough or very dry patches on my skin such as my elbows, knees and anywhere that gets really dry and flaky. Being a balm it takes a little bit more time to work into the skin but it provides a nourishing and lasting layer of protection on the skin. Particularly good to apply to dry rough or over worked skin and leave overnight to work its magic.

I have to start by saying I love balms! They aren’t for everyone, but if you’re a fan of balms, you’re going to love this one.

I love opening a brand new jar of balm and seeing that perfectly smooth, shiny surface. Not only is this balm perfectly shiny and smooth, it has a beautiful green colour to it.

You do have to really use some pressure to scoop up some of the balm. I find it’s easiest to use firm pressure with my second finger, making a circular groove around the inside of the jar. Then using the warmth of my hands to soften the balm, I can apply it wherever I need to. My legs are quite dry at the moment so I’m using this balm all over my legs. It’s not at all greasy and feels really soothing.

This balm does have a slight scent that reminds me just a little bit of Eve Lom cleansing balm, which is my absolute favourite. However, this fragrance is much, much lighter.

This is the second Hemptuary product I’ve tried and I’ve enjoyed both.

I received this little beauty as part of the Best in Beauty trial team and I’m so glad I did!

I’m prone to dry skin and constant sanitiser use has left my hands very unhappy! A lot of handcreams just aren’t hydrating enough so I thought I’d try this balm and I love it.

I use on my hands at night before bed and it is so soothing and hydrating. It calms any irritation I have and I wake up with soft hydrated hands.

I’ve also used this a couple of times on my daughters skin after a bath after she has been in the pool as chlorine often upsets her skin and it was kept any irritation at by.

A lovely product to have on hand for so many different uses.

    Love love love this product.
I was lucky enough to receive it as a trial, and I’m so glad i did.
    It is absolutely amazing.
I have extremely dry knees, and very dark skin. This means my dry spots on my knees really stand out and make me very self concious. I used this product on my knees morning and night after my shower, and it was great. It had a beautiful refreshing scent. I thought it was going to be super greasy and heavy, but it was super light and hydrating. I will continue to use this product in my regular routine as it’s just amazing.
