I really like this body balm, while it’s not a specialised / targeted product it is a really nice all rounder. I have generally sensitive skin especially after showering and/or shaving so this was perfect to add to my post shower routine to keep my skin feeling really nice. It’s always nice to be able to use a product with organic ingredients, I really appreciate that it’s made with hemp which is a much more sustainable plant to grow than some of the other most commonly used plants so it’s a win for my skin and a win for the environment!

  2. Haniibee44

As a trial team member for Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm, I must say I’m thoroughly impressed. This product delivers on its promises and then some. The balm’s texture is luxuriously smooth, making application a breeze. It absorbs quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated without any greasiness.

What truly sets this product apart is its soothing effect. Whether it’s muscle soreness or dry skin, the Hemp Soothing Body Balm works like magic. The hemp extract in it is a game-changer, providing deep relief and relaxation. I found it especially effective after a tough workout or a long day on my feet.

The natural ingredients list is commendable, as it includes hemp seed oil, shea butter, and essential oils. It’s free from harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances, which is a huge plus for those with sensitive skin.

The scent is subtle and pleasant, not overpowering. The packaging is both sleek and eco-friendly, which aligns with today’s sustainability values.

In conclusion, the Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm exceeded my expectations. It’s a versatile, high-quality product that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone in need of skin hydration and relief from everyday aches and pains.

  3. alex.clare

I tend to have fairly sensitive skin after showering and especially shaving so this body balm was perfect! It’s nothing too intense (not a specialty/targeting product) but as an everyday body balm it’s been a really nice step to add to my post shower routine.
It’s always nice to be able to use products with organic ingredients, and with hemp being a much more sustainable plant to grow compared to a lot of other things we tend to overuse it ticks the box for being a little kinder to the environment

Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm is a lifesaver! Initially I was quite sad as this balm is very solid and difficult to break the surface to be able to grab enough product to use for the area required. After a few uses it gradually became easier to apply. This texture of this balm is quite waxy and oily and it immediately melts at the warmth of your skin. I love to use this product as a spot treatment in my super dry spots like my elbows, knees and shins in addition to my every day moisturiser. The size of the container is a huge bonus also as it easily fits in any one of my bag so i’m able to take it on the go with me and use whenever needed.

  5. Aerielle

I received this body balm as part of a trial. This product is effective and works well to hydrate your skin, which would be the main reason for use. However, I found it quite annoying to apply. You sort of have to dig to get some product on your hand and not as easy to spread on your body in comparison to a lotion or softer balms. On that note, I repeat it does work extremely more effectively in hydrating your skin and leaves your skin shiny. It has a strong lemongrass smell. Fortunately, I like the scent of lemon grass but would keep this in mind.

  6. clareeley

Hemptuary’s Hemp soothing Body Balm is a lovely organic product perfect for everyone. The container is a nice compact size easy to fit in anyone’s bag. Initially the product was quite hard to use as it is very solid and it was difficult to break the surface to get enough product to apply to the skin. However, once a sold indent was created in the balm it was easier to remove from the tub. The balm is of an waxy, oily texture. It melts almost immediately a the touch of warm skin. I use this as a spot treatment for the extra pesky areas such as my knees, elbows and shins, in addition to my everyday moisturiser. I have found it to be extremely beneficial.

  7. Dragonfly27

The Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm is not something I would look out for, for myself to use.
But, I have recently had knee surgery and thought that my knee would be a good place to try this product.
I found that it helped soothe the healing surgical sites nicely, and stopped the itching that comes with healing wounds.
The Calendua, Manuka and Peppermint oils are extremely moisturising and soothing combination to have.
It is more of a solid styled balm, and a small amount goes a long way. I would have like to have had a small spatula to use to scoop it out without over using the balm.

  8. Elegance Vivre Eternite

I have thoroughly enjoyed using this Balm! Non-sticky and lovely texture that sinks right in. At the same time you can also use it as a massage nightly Balm as I’ve enjoyed doing before bed for the neck and shoulders, heck it has Cannabis in it so it has therapeutic properties after all! It works really well this way and the next morning I can still smell the beautiful Aromatherapy scent. I have found the skinnies deeply nourished and hydrated after use and it is also a Day Spa experience due to the Aromatherapy. I highly recommend trying this Balm.

  9. Iping

I received this product as part of a beauty heaven trial teams package. The presentation of the product is lovely. I did find though that the balm was very hard/firm and I could have used a spoon or something had to scrape some out. Once it had warmed between my fingers it was much easier to use, but the perfume was too much for me. It is a very strong eucalyptus and clove aroma and would be perfect in a sports trainers room. I would not recommend using this before going out for a nice dinner as it is so strong.

  10. Josie1993

I was lucky to trial out the Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm as part of the trial box package.

The rose gold and white is very nice in appearance.

For my personally the body balm is definitely on the thicker side on consistency. I found that a little product goes a long way. But the more you work the product it does warm up and spread more around my skin.

I would say try and warm the balm in your fingers or palm and then apply to your desired area of skin.

I wouldn’t really go out of my way to purchase as it’s not the right type of product for me.

  11. Rachel407

I was fortunate to be part of the BH Trial Team for this product. Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm came in a screw top bottle that was easy to use (though I prefer pump top bottles for better control of product amount and hygiene purposes). The cream was enriched with calendula, manuka and peppermint oil, and unfortunately I found the scent a bit overpowering. The cream was a nice consistency, not too thick or greasy, and absorbed well into the skin. My skin felt hydrated after using this product, and I appreciate the lack of artificial ingredients in the product. Overall it was a nice body balm but would not go out of my way to repurchase.

  12. reneealicespicer81

I’ve never heard of it used this brand u til I received it in a trial box. I live some hemp products so I was keen to try this one.
I really wanted to like this product, it smelled amazing when I first opened it to try. Unfortunately I really didn’t enjoy using this product. The biggest issue was the beads/lumps in the product. I worked really hard to try and emulsify them in my hands before applying it, which didn’t work. I then tried applying it directly to my skin and rubbing them in, that didn’t work either. I was so disappointed as I was hoping this would be a nice, nourishing body balm for my dry skin.

  13. Elefante

I love using balm products in the cooler months, especially on my dry areas (cuticles, heels, knees and elbows) as I find they provide a deep surge of moisture and lock into the skin better than a standard cream product. This body balm did not disappoint, it has a very smooth consistency which maintained regardless of whether it was stored in room temperature or warmer (I’ve experienced other balms splitting due to weather). This is key as it made application very seamless every time. The fragrance is very mild, I enjoy the subtle earthy scent.

  14. chantell.way

Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm has a lucious feel to it. I don’t have sensitive skin, but sometimes it gets dry due to swimming or gym activities. This body balm feels really nice when you apply it to your shoulders and legs and is not greasy. It is made with hemp, which is natural and the smell is mild and natural, and the container is compact and easy to use. The product is a good price and value for money as you only need a little bit each time, so one container lasts a long time. I noticed results from the first use. If you want to give your skin some extra love, this balm is a favourable pick. This Body Balm is a must-have in my weekly skincare routine. Its super moisturising, thick texture, and lasting benefits. If you want a product that doesn’t just hydrate but also calms and heals your skin. I recommend this product for keeping your skin happy nourished, you will notice a difference in your skin

Hemptuary-Hemp Soothing Body Balm with Calendula and Manuka oil. This product is absolutely fabulous! Made in New Zealand from Premium Organic Hemp.It contains natural ingredients that helps soothe skin irritations and relieve tired skin. There are no harsh chemicals, parabens, silicones or sulphates. It’s suitable for massaging into tired muscles. I gently dabbed the balm onto my hand and rubbed in a circular motion. It took a little while to absorb but felt nice. The manuka oil smell was gorgeous and the gold packaging just makes this product look regal!Highly recommend-10-10!!

There must be a glitch in your system as I’ve written and submitted this review about three times now!

I loved this product. I enjoyed using it as a nightly, massage farm for neck and shoulders. It’s non-greasy but works really well as a massage balm. Heck it even has cannabis in it so I’m sure there are some therapeutic properties too.

I particularly enjoyed the aromatherapy scent ~ which she can still smell in the morning when you wake up.

Really enjoyed this product. Thank you for opportunity of trying it.

I recently tried Hemptuary Body Balm and it’s a total game-changer! This balm has worked wonders for my skin. The natural hemp ingredients provide deep moisture and nourishment, leaving my skin feeling soft and hydrated. The texture is perfect – not too thick or greasy. It’s also great for targeting dry patches. I love that it’s made with all-natural, sustainable ingredients. Plus, the earthy, herbal scent is incredibly soothing. Hemptuary Body Balm is now a daily essential for me, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone seeking a high-quality, natural skincare solution.

Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm is like a superhero for your skin! Packed with all the good stuff, it’s a one-stop-shop for tackling skin irritations and stress.

But the real kicker? It’s got peppermint oil to give you that spa-like chill. Plus, it’s a champ for eczema-prone skin. After a shave or wax, it’s your soothing sidekick.

In a nutshell, Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm is your all-in-one skin solution. Whether you’re dealing with skin quirks, need some post-shave TLC, or just want to look fresher, this balm’s got your back. A must for your skincare squad!

  21. Andrea635

That first when I tried this, I didn’t realise it was a balm. This is great to put on dry patches on your skin or areas of concern is a thick consistency but is able to melt into your skin once warmed up. I love all the natural ingredients that this product has. I love natural skincare products and will always go for these than other skincare products. There is no overwhelming sense in this so it is suitable for everyone and the packaging is beautiful and light. I will continue to trial this product and encourage others to as well

Regularly I am with rashes from my dermatitis/eczema but also get nasty heat rashes that are irritating and I feel like my skin is never going to ‘cool’ down.

I’ve never heard of Hemptuary before and was quite keen to give this a go for its soothing effects.
The balm itself isn’t as greasy/oily as I thought it would be so I was pleasantly surprised. A light scent and was easily placed over my rashes with no stings or sensitivities.

The balm container itself gives a very luxe feeling with the white and gold and is a nice little container on the skincare shelf.

  24. Annatahs

I received this product to trial and I like that this is an intensive body balm as a bit goes a long way. It contains calendula and manuka oil that makes them suitable for my sensitive skin. I wasn’t too sure about the hemp seed oil but surprisingly, it was quite decent and not bad-smelling.

The only area of improvement that comes to mind is how to regulate the temperature for use as it was rather hard literally and physically as it was a hard block at first. In the end, I had to dig deep to get some product to trial.

  25. Angel96

This hemp soothing body balm was just not it! I was really curious to try it, as I’ve never tried any hemp products before. The package was the nicest part for me. The white container and rose gold lid made the product feel nice. The formula was thickkk. It reminded me of hardened coconut oil that you need to scrape your finger nail into to get it out…which is exactly what I had to do. The product was slightly green and yellow and even though was quite hard it melted quickly into the skin. I found it frustrating to have to was my hands after use. My assumption as it’s to avoid contact was eyes. Besides the above, the product did hydrate myself but no different to any body balm.

I was really excited to try this product from the beauty box I received. On opening it smelled amazing, I don’t mind fragrance but don’t like ridiculously overpowering fragrance in my skincare. This was not too strong, it was quite pleasant.
I used a small amount to test it initially, thinking it might be nice to lock in my skincare at night. When I used it there were small balls/beads in the product, I began to wonder if this was an exfoliator that of some kind. Nope! After significant work to emulsify the product in my hands before using it on my body, some of the beads/balls had disappeared but many of them still remained in the palm of my hands, not broken down.
I ended up using it on my hands and wiping the remaining beads/balls off so as not to annoy me. The product is thick and quite oily, I thought it would be great on my dry elbows/knees etc. but with the amount of effort required to dissolve the beads/balls in the product, it’s not worth it.
All in all, I was pretty disappointed with this. It smelled amazing and I was so keen to use it.

I really like the aesthetic of the copper colouring of the packaging, and whilst the top looks like metal it is plastic. When I first opened the tub I was happy to note the fragrance was very mild but also quite pleasant. This is a very dense balm which was very hard to break into at first, it took me quite a bit of force to be able to get any of the product out. If I had thought to do it perhaps a bit of heat from a hairdryer could have softened it up a bit when it is first opened and flat on top. It seems as if it has a layer that has settled on the top making it hard almost like a wax consistency. Once through the upper layer the balm has an easier to use consistency but is still a very thick balm and solid type balm. I found it absorbs very quickly into skin so was best used on small areas at a time. I really want to love this but it isn’t the easiest balm to use due to how dense it is.

  31. Kiki Star

I got to try the Hemptuary Hemp soothing body balm as part of the 2023 Best of Beauty box trial recently.

The product comes in round jar with 30 g of product inside. It is well sealed with a second inner lid which helps to keep the product clean from contaminants or helps to slow down oxidation of the balm.

At first glance, the product reminds me of vaseline with the light yellow colour but true to its name, the texture is more a solid lip balm type than a soft gel.

What I love about it is that this balm is all natural ingredient listings with no strange chemicals or additives. All of the ingredients have skin healing properties with the solid emulsion made from a mix of plant oils and bees wax, including hemp oil(the first ingredient on the listing), manuka leaf oil, calendula oil, clove leaf oil and vitamin- E, all of them are renowned for soothing calming or antiseptic benefits to moisturise dry sensitive skin and address irritations from eczema, dermatitis and UV over exposure.

The balm itself has a scent of lemongrass tinged with green hemp oil and spicy peppermint aroma (all ingredients of the product so it is naturally scented).

When I first used it, I realised that a little goes a long way, and it takes a bit of rubbing in for the oil to penetrate and absorb into the skin. It leaves a slight residue on the skin so I prefer using it on the very dry areas of my body such as my feet, heels, fingers, elbows and knees. When putting on my fee and heel, I pop a pair of socks on afterwards to prevent the oil from getting on the carpet when walking around and on the bed at night

I had cracked dry heels and within a day of use, it was soothed and no longer painful to put weight on around the cracked areas. Although it did a great job of locking in moisture of the dry area, it didn’t feel hydrating enough for my heels or elbows with one application and I needed to apply multiple times during the day to get my skin to not feel dry or looking flaky and scaly.

I’ve not had any skin rash or dermatitis flare up during the time I’ve trial the product so can’t comment on its effectiveness in this area but I will update with a newer review when I need to treat these symptoms.

I love that this balm also works as an amazing cuticle cream as well as being a godsend for my dry rough fingers due to contact with cleaning chemicals and gardening work. It has truly helped to soften the thick dry skin that’s been roughen up by a lot of scrubbing work. My nails and the cuticles have never looked so good in months after 2 days of use of the Hemp soothing body balm.

If you need a multi-tasking balm that helps reduce inflammation and address dermatitis, this could be the right product for you. I’ll continue to use it and would repurchase if it helps with my rashes (when the flare ups happen).

  32. HanLou

I wasn’t keen on this product to start with, before opening it. I prefer clinical skin care usually! However, this little balm is beautiful to apply, and provides a great barrier at night,
if put over the top of my active serums. It reminds me almost of an oil once activated (warmed and massaged into skin). I used this on my face and found I was still quite hydrated and ‘supple’ in the morning after using this product.
The calendula and manuka are calming, and the scent was relaxing. All in all a very nice product to use!

This hemptuary hemp soothing body balm was not a my favourite body balm. I found the packaging was very nice and luxe. However, I the formula I was not a fan of. The product was slight yellow/green (didn’t care), but it was very hard. I had to dig my finger nails in to scrape the product. It reminded me of the texture of cold/hard coconut oil. After getting the product out though I found it melting into the skin quite easily. I didn’t mind the slight Leafy scent. I found it frustrating that it says you have no f ways your hands after use as I tend it usually leave whatever product is left and run on my hands. Not my fave body balm but definitely did hydrate.

  38. Debstar

First thoughts, the packaging is lovely, I like the bronze gold colouring of the plastic lid to give it a luxurious edge. When I first opened the package I was taken aback by how hard the balm was. I had to dig into the tub to get some product out. I found the balm to be quite dense so after unsuccessfully trying to apply it in a larger area I rubbed my hands together to warm them up and found that I needed to spot treat dry areas rather than being able to apply to a more general larger area like a leg or arm. It definitely made my elbows more soft. It has a medium scent that is pleasant, but ultimately I felt it absorbed into my hands quicker than I could apply it to my designated areas.

I wasn’t really sure what to use this for? ‘Soothing body balm’ didn’t really explain the purpose on the front of the box. I gave it to my son to massage his thighs after sport and he gave it a thumbs up. It’s a solid balm that melts somewhat when you use it. I found it great on my dry elbows and gave myself a foot massage with it. Left my feet feeling glorious! Lovely packaging and smells nice. One of those products that’s nice to have on hand and use occasionally but I won’t be in any rush to buy it again.

  41. goldprincess21

I have been using this body balm a few times a week. I especially like to use it after shaving as it calms my skin if I have any redness from the shaving. It goes into the skin really well so not left with any residue sitting on the surface of the skin. It has peppermint oil in it which is there to relax the body. I feel quite relaxed after using this body balm. It also states that it is suitable for pregnant women, babies and children so thats a really good product because if its safe for babies and children, its safe for most people. Its free from paraben which is a bonud.

  42. SuZi Feelgood

Love this product, received as part of a trial and review opportunity from beautyheaven, thank you beautyheaven! Pleasant and mild scent, it melts into your skin. You need a spatula of some sort or the back of a fingernail to get it out of the container though. I even used it on some rough skin under my lip as I had nothing else on me at the time. It doesn’t say it can be used on the face but I needed something and it soothed my skin, but some might have a reaction. It has manuka honey and calendula, which are both excellent products for your skin and natural. A lovely product and worth the price.

Hemptuary’s Hemp Soothing Body Balm came in a screw top jar that was easy to use, though I prefer a pump jar to control amount of product and for hygiene reasons. The body balm had a peppermint scent which was a bit strong for me, but I liked the Manuka oil and other moisturising components to the cream. I used this on my dry skin and found that it was a nice moisturiser. Definitely does the job, not sure if it is significantly more moisturising than other products.

As someone with extremely sensitive skin and sensitive to smell, this product just wasn’t for me. Hemptuary Hemp Soothing Body Balm is a solid balm where a little goes a long way.

Upon opening the first thing that hit me was the scent. Is is heavily fragranced (likely due to all the oils in the product), so if you’re like me and sensitive to smells i would give this one a miss. As a result I wasn’t able to continue using this product and will be passing it on to friends or family to try instead.

After trialing this body balm, it is not something I would ever use again. I will continue to use it until it is all gone but it is a product I would not purchase post the trial.

I was curious to see what it was like and was not really sure what to expect. Upon opening the lid, I found it hard to get enough product out to use and did not find it effective at all.

There is no fragrance which is good.

I do like the packaging as it looks nice – especially the colour that has been used for the lid, it is a colour that is not used often and should be used more.

It was good to know it was made in New Zealand and there are some great beauty products that come from there.

Hemptuary Soothing Body Balm has been a bit of a gem to use, and for me to trial this great product.
I have recently had knee surgery, so this body balm has come in extremely handy to help with healing.
The beautiful Calendula and Manuka Oils have been fantastic to help with soothing my surgical scar tissue healing, so it hasn’t been as itchy and irritating. The Peppermint Oil is just a relaxing scent for me, so I have been massaging this into my knee several times a day.
The formulation is quite solid, so I would have liked to see a small spatula included to make it easier to use the balm, but overall, a big thumbs up from me.

This balm suprised me! It has a very thick consistently but melts once warmed up into the hands. Great for areas of concern!! Doesntly have any overwhelming scent and it feels beautiful on the skin. I love the packaging, i think its so beautiful. I love all the natural ingrediants added into this as i do suffer from sensitive skin and eczma. I would not recommend using it as an all over face moisturiser as it is abit thick (unless you like thicker creams) which i did before i read it! But super handy to keep with you to use whenever. The only downside is scooping out the balm may be an issue, id recommend always washing your hands before scooping some out as it can get contaminated by this.

I actually stopped using this after the first use because of the dosage warning Avoid contact with eyes and wash hands after applying That was when I realized I needed the soothing on my hands and arms and that I could possibly be touching my face, pets, or other family members, I have no idea why it would say that on the packaging and it makes me think its not safe to use or could be toxic so I cannot give an accurate review on a product I was too scared to use, I did however find it to be very oily feeling after the first use and did not like the feeling on my skin so based on this 1 use I would not recommend or buy again. They might need to rethink the wording on the dosage with a reason why or where you can apply this product it’s too vague.

I received this product as part of a beauty heaven trial teams package and had never heard of this brand before. The packaging is very well done and the product presented very well. The balm however was very hard to get out of the container, you could nearly use a spoon to scrape it. Once it is warmed between your fingers it is easy to apply. I did have an issue with the perfume, it has a very strong eucalyptus and clove smell. It would be quite at home in a football trainers room, but I would not use it before going out for a nice dinner!!
